Current website behaviour

Privacy and website data handling.

This page explains how the current public ByteQuorum website handles readiness answers, enquiries and optional consent-based analytics. It should be updated whenever website data handling materially changes.

Do not submit confidential business records, client information, credentials, production exports, sensitive personal data or security information through the public website, readiness scan or an initial enquiry.

5-minute readiness scan answers

The Workflow-to-AI Readiness Scan processes the workflow name and 15 answers in the visitor's browser. The current implementation does not send those answers to a ByteQuorum server, create an account, store the answers in a website database or retain them after the page is refreshed.

The scan asks for a short, non-sensitive workflow name. Do not enter client records, credentials, personal data, commercially sensitive details or production information. The result is indicative only and is not an audit, compliance review, privacy assessment, security assessment, financial case or implementation recommendation.

The optional email action prepares a draft in the visitor's email application using a mailto: link. The draft contains the workflow name, score summary and top blockers—not the 15 individual answers. The visitor reviews and sends the message through their chosen email provider.

Contact request form

The contact page form prepares a draft message in the visitor's email application using a mailto: link. The current website does not submit the form to a ByteQuorum server or store the form fields in a website database. The visitor reviews and sends the message through their chosen email provider.

Once an email is sent, it is handled by the email services used by the sender and ByteQuorum. Email correspondence may be retained as necessary to respond to the enquiry, manage the prospective business relationship and maintain appropriate business records.

Information to include in an initial enquiry

Use non-sensitive context such as:

  • Your name, role, work email and organisation
  • The name or purpose of the reporting or decision workflow
  • A general description of the management problem
  • The types of systems involved without including record contents

Do not attach source records or provide system access until a scope, confidentiality approach and approved evidence-handling method have been agreed.

Optional website analytics

ByteQuorum uses Google Analytics 4 on the Production website to understand how visitors use the site and which journeys are useful. Analytics remains off unless a valid Measurement ID is configured and the visitor selects Allow analytics. Selecting Decline keeps the Google Analytics tag unloaded. The preference is stored in that browser and can be changed through the Analytics settings control.

When analytics is allowed, ByteQuorum records page views using the page path without the query string and aggregate counts for a small set of website interactions. These cover selecting the homepage readiness-scan link, starting or completing the scan, viewing the professional assessment and initiating contact. A contact-submission event will only be activated if the website later gains a server-confirmed submission flow.

The website does not send individual scan answers, workflow names, scores, result bands, blockers, names, email addresses, organisation details, message contents, uploaded documents, user identifiers, full referrer URLs or URL query strings to Google Analytics. The only permitted event properties are the site language, a predefined placement label and a broad referrer category.

After consent, Google Analytics may use cookies or browser identifiers and process technical information under Google's service terms and privacy practices. ByteQuorum disables advertising storage, ad personalisation and Google signals in the website configuration. Review Google's Privacy Policy for information about Google's processing.

External services

The website is hosted using third-party infrastructure. With consent, the website loads Google Analytics as described above. Links may open an email application or another external service. Those services operate under their own privacy and security terms.

Security and data minimisation

ByteQuorum's assessment approach begins with controlled, approved and appropriately minimised evidence. Public website contact and the readiness scan are not the place to transfer assessment samples. Where a formal engagement proceeds, the scope should define what evidence is required, who may access it and how it will be handled.

Questions or requests

For questions about this notice or information previously sent to ByteQuorum, contact nounchung@gmail.com. Include enough detail to identify the correspondence, but do not send additional sensitive information in the first message.

Important boundary
